Does immigration negatively affect the economy and cause issues in this country? What is the impact of immigration in the USA?

12 out of every 100 people in the U.S. is an immigrant and an additional 24% of americans are first or second generation immigrants. We are part of the great melting pot. Immigrants in America have contributed to the economy and have helped it prosper over time.

Immigrants have contributed back to the economy and have been very entrepreneurial. In fact, immigrants are more likely to start businesses. If we took the spending power of immigrants in the U.S., they would be the 16th biggest country in the world.
